What is Purim?

Queen Esther and her cousin Mordecai triumphed over the evil plot of the king’s wicked advisor, Haman, and the Jewish people of ancient Persia were saved. When is Purim?
Purim falls on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Adar (in the Jewish calendar). This means that the holiday may change dates according to the Gregorian calendar system.
